How to rotate SWF or FLV files by a certain degree?

Why we need to rotate movie?

For some reasons, such as recording angel or format conversion, some movies are upside-down when playing. We may need to rotate the movies and get them right to enjoy and share them. And some of us would like to lay down to watch movies, then if the movies were rotated by 90° degrees, we may feel much comfortable. Or some special effects may give the movies’ scenes certain angles. We may need a movie rotator then, and here comes the idoo Video Editor.

How to rotate SWF or FLV files by a certain degree?

SWF is short for “shock wave flash”, which is an Adobe Flash file format. Today, SWF is the dominant format for displaying "animated" vector graphics on the Web. It may also be used for programs, commonly browser games. And, FLV, which is abbreviation of “Flash Video”, was originally developed by MACromedia Flash MX.

SWF and FLV are widely used, however, most video editors do not support SWF. Luckily idoo Video Editor does, and it can also convert the SWF file into other media formats after editing it.

The following part will illustrate how to rotate SWF and FLV by different degree.
